Baby on board! Whitney Bischoff is now a proud mom after welcoming her first child with her husband, Ricky Angel.
The infant, named Hayes Singleton Angel, was born on Saturday, May 4. Bischoff, 33, announced the newborn’s arrival two days later. “Happy birthday to Hayes Singleton Angel- the sweetest baby boy,” she caption a black-and-white video on Instagram. “He definitely has his mom’s Kentucky blood making his debut on Derby Day and his dad’s great hair and mild temperament (for now 😉) This Angel was truly heaven sent coming on the anniversary of my mom’s passing- no doubt he was hand delivered 👼🏻 @rickyrange16.”
The Bachelor alum announced that she and Angel were expecting with a February Instagram post. The reality star cradled her baby bump in the photo, smiling down at a baby book with her husband while holding her dog.
“Sorry I’ve been MIA, I’ve been busy growing a little angel for the past 7 months,” the mom-to-be captioned the upload. “We are so excited to welcome our little man in May. As you can tell, Lillie can’t wait to be a big sis!”
This was Bischoff’s first Instagram post since October 2018.
Fellow Bachelor alum Jade Roper, who is pregnant with her and Tanner Tolbert’s second child, commented on the post, “So excited for your family to grow! Congrats, Whitney!”
The fertility nurse appeared on season 19 of The Bachelor, which aired in 2015, alongside Chris Soules. She accepted his proposal in the finale, but split from the farmer two months after the episode aired. She met Angel four months later, with the help of a dating app.
“This one time, on 9/24/15, I went on a bumble date and met a really cute guy,” she captioned a September 2017 Instagram post. “He actually looked just like his pics!! He made me laugh. And he made me feel like I could be myself. He didn’t care about my past. We were just two kids living in the moment.”
She and Angel tied the knot one month later at the Wequassett Resort and Golf Club in Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
