Joshua Ballinger Lippincott Rosen is an American football quarterback for the National Football League’s Cleveland Browns (NFL).
Josh Rosen was born on February 10, 1997, in Torrance, California, to orthopaedic spine surgeon Charles Rosen and former journalist Liz Lippincott. His parents divorced in 2012, but he remains close to both of them.
Rosen’s father is Jewish and was a nationally ranked ice skater who came close to qualifying for the Winter Olympics in the 1970s, and his mother is a Quaker who captained the Princeton lacrosse team.
Charles Rosen was also the founding member of the Association for Ethics in Spine Surgery. He has always stood up for what is right, which has made him unpopular.
Charles enjoyed ice skating and was nationally ranked enough to be considered for the Winter Olympics in the 1970s.
Josh’s mother comes from a prominent family; her father was the CEO of the publishing firm J.B. Lippincott & Co. She was also a former editor for Golf Pro and Sports Style.
